Welcome¶

Welcome to F5’s SAML Identity Provider (IdP) lab guide. In this class we will learn how to use F5 Access Policy Manager as a SAML Identity Provider. You’ll configure the F5 to provide authentication and authorization for a simulated SaaS application and then control which users have access based on group membership.

The intended audience for this lab is network security engineers who manage the authentication and authorization technologies for the organization and who are looking to consolidate identity solutions onto the F5 platform.

If you require a pre-built lab environment please contact your F5 account team and they can provide access to environments on an as-needed basis.
